About Makro Pro

Makro Pro is Thailand's largest B2B grocery platform - 39.5% market share per Euromonitor - processing 20,000+ transactions daily. As Frontend Tech Lead I own the technical roadmap and system design for a micro-frontend B2B SaaS Warehouse Management System built from the ground up - a data-dense platform spanning inventory, order management, replenishment and fulfillment, engineered for real-time operations.

The challenge

Makro Pro needed a Warehouse Management System built from scratch - a complex B2B SaaS platform spanning inventory, order management, replenishment and fulfillment modules. There was no existing frontend architecture, no design system, no observability infrastructure and no engineering standards in place.

What I did

Owned the technical roadmap and system design as Frontend Tech Lead, directing 8 frontend engineers and mentoring 4 - establishing code review processes, onboarding guides and CI/CD pipelines from the ground up

Architected a 50+ component design system in React.js and TypeScript using Atomic Design principles across 8+ WMS modules - built with Storybook for documentation and developer adoption

Built a Playwright testing infrastructure from scratch achieving 80% E2E test coverage across all modules

Established a complete frontend observability stack on Tencent Cloud using Grafana, Datadog, Sentry and PagerDuty - enabling phased production rollout across inventory, order management, replenishment and fulfillment modules

Implemented a feature flag ecosystem enabling controlled rollouts and A/B testing without redeployments
